Some big changes coming. Past few months focused bigly on innovating and pivoting EARLY in a changing industry We expect a big exodus of gaming onto @solana and we want to be first movers. Importantly, it offers Mist stronger technology and more scalability. More to come.

New Mist Council means new action. Things, and people, have changed. Server changes will require a few rounds of updates. The gameplay changes are more vast and they will be public soon. However step 1 in implementing these changes is reviving the servers, optimizing them, etc

Chain Talk 🔗 Mist Community and players: Times and userbases of chains change. If Mist was to go cross-chain, which new Chain should we onboard?

⚔️Expansion Is Coming - Growth to Team, Funding, Vision⚔️ Expansion, Future, and more Growth is here- Along with an increased scope, ability, and funding. 💪The past few months have been wonderful for Mist behind the scenes. While the socials have been quiet, we have brought on strong and visionary partners who are coming on to renew funding, expand the team, and expand the project scope. We're excited to share the news. 🚀These are people, firms, and builders who respect and appreciate everything that Mist has built and see an immense opportunity to help take it to the next level. More importantly they believe in expanding Mist's gaming infrastructure and IP portfolio. 🎯From new team members, to renewed funding, to a full buy-out and acquisition (and repurpose) of some of our Technology and IP, the past few months have been truly great. Truly wonderful additions to the team and to the project that will help in many ways. In general, Mist is bringing on new team, leadership, and backers who love the project and will help us to expand. Not only with funding, but with IP, licensing, and more. 🙏Some Important Background for the Community: We are building the most advanced MMORPG in Web3. Along with a wonderful, powerful, and loving community. Tens of thousands of players experienced the most immersive gameplay and made long lasting friends in-game. Our players got the best gaming experience in Web3 - from technologies like our launcher hub, seamless blockchain integration, wallet systems, and more. Truly revolutionary IP. And we want to keep improving. 2 years ago massive political and global event changed the lives of many of our team members. Both leadership and development team. Putting politics aside, the actual futures of the team members (and of the project) were brought to a halt literally overnight. So we pivoted the remaining team and changed focus away from the time consuming aspects of development, and began to focus more on the technical IP where our remaining team had the most strength. To say that these times were difficult would be an understatement. However we were blessed to retain a portion of the team who stayed on working with sweat equity and pushing the technology forward, even with their safety and futures being uncertain. The passion for Mist kept things moving forward. 💗But the hard work in the difficult times has brought great news. The development of this technical IP (which is never sexy to the public) meant we were approached by many backers looking to either fund, buy out, or acquire parts of the project. All positive things looking forward. We are nearing the stage where these updates and acquisitions will be made public, where necessary. So we want to prepare the community for a renewed scope and wonderful boost to Mist. Over the next few weeks you will see updates and increases to the scope, partnership, and more. We will gradually share all highlights of the IP and project acquisition as well as how this helps Mist to grow and expand. 🫂Thank you everyone for sticking with the team over the past 3 years! It's crazy to think it has been so long.
