"Alt season" generally lasts a short time and when it does, it's often very explosive. There's longer periods in between where alts gain market share but those aren't nearly as explosive. ETH/BTC remains the best proxy for alt risk on sentiment. That's why it's good to watch.

The upside from alts being down as much as they are, is that the unlocks on all these massive market cap coins that need to get absorbed, are a lot less now. Eventually we'll find some equilibrium again. Even on the very "expensive" coins.
Why did $ETH stop bleeding vs #Bitcoin the past two weeks? In my opinion the main driver is because inflows went negative on $BTC. This makes it so ETH doesn't have to "keep up" with all the inflows from the ETFs. BTC seeing selling from the ETFs -> Helps ETH/BTC stay afloat.

Yesterday’s ETF Flows came in at -$83.6M. $IBIT Took in $0 again. $FBTC Saw -$2.8M in outflows. $GBTC Saw a -$82.4M outflow. Down from the 2 days prior. Trading week ended with a net -$328M outflow. Price went -3% from Monday Open to Friday Close.

#Bitcoin The levels I'm watching in the mid term. 4H 200MA/EMA good to gauge sentiment/trend on this timeframe. $BTC needs to retake those for the bulls to be back in control. Big support level below that's been tested a few times. 2021 ATH at $69K remains important.
#Bitcoin Weekend price action? I think it makes sense we just hover around this area seeing the price action into the weekend which was already choppy/sideways.
#Bitcoin Doesn't often retest its Daily 200MA/EMA during a bull cycle. Yet, when it does, it tends to be a great buying opportunity in the long term. So while I'm not counting on us hitting this in the nearby future, I will surely be bidding it on the off chance it does come.
Every cycle, people claim the halving to be priced in when it happens. And yes, it might be to a certain extend in the short term. We also usually see a dip/slowdown around the halving itself like we're seeing now. Yet, every cycle we see massive returns post halving. 🙂
