On this day in 1945 (November 26), Hazrat Musleh Mau'ood RA appointed Maulana Nazir Ahmad Ali Sahib as Missionary In-charge of West Africa. In a ceremony held in Qadian in honor of his return to Africa, Maulana Sahib expressed the powerful words now inscribed on his gravestone.
"Missionaries were not successful because of their enrollment in Jamia, but because of their devotion to Khilāfat-e-Ahmadiyya. Attachment to Khilāfat is the 'rope of Allah' that leads a Missionary to success over any other facility be it wealth, intelligence or oratory skill."

Here is a close-up of his tombstone. Requesting prayers that we all follow his example, Ameen.
