Task 1 of my Maker Internship Program 2026 at ITIDA - EME Innovation Labs is complete!
Designed an Analog-to-Digital Temperature Interface Circuit, taking it from circuit analysis and logic design to simulation and PCB layout.
Concise technical report in the replies.
@rdotapps Absolutely! We also tested the circuit on a breadboard, and it worked as expected. The next challenge is seeing how the same design behaves on the final PCB and dealing with real-world noise and layout considerations.

Day 6 | From Analog Signals to PCB Design ⚙️
في Day 6 من Maker Internship Program 2026 – EME Creativa Giza Innovation Labs، دخلنا في جزء عملي جدًا: من Simulation للـ PCB Design، وأهم حاجة بالنسبة لي كانت تجربة الـ debugging وحل مشكلة حقيقية في الدائرة.

فكان السؤال: إزاي أعمل نفس الـ short trigger بدون ما أفضل ضاغط على الـ input؟
💡 الحل: RC network يعمل transient response:
LOW pulse → Capacitor charges → Signal returns HIGH
وبالفعل الـ 555 بدأ الـ timing cycle، والـ LED اشتغل للمدة المطلوبة ثم فصل.
Day 4 | Digital Logic ⚡️
A practical day at Maker Internship Program 2026. We worked with digital signals, logic gates, Boolean algebra, truth tables, encoders/decoders & flip-flops.
Built a JK Flip-Flop Counter: 1→9, 7-Segment display, then reset.

We implemented a Flash ADC and for homework I chose a 4-bit R-2R Ladder DAC.
Key lesson: Truth Tables + Boolean Algebra can simplify logic and reduce the number of gates, for more efficient, practical circuits.

Then we built a Half Adder with Carry and a 4-bit Full Adder with the result on a 7-Segment Display.
The highlight was an ALU for addition, negative addition, increment, decrement, and logic operations, with a selection stage between both modes. ⚙️
