A new phase: Since the start of my hardware journey, I've noticed that I've been moving slowly because I lacked a clear goal. "I just want to become a cracked hardware/robotics engineer" sounds cool, right? But that's not something you become just because you like the profession. It requires commitment and hands-on practice. Because of that, I got into embedded systems since it's arguably one of the best ways to start getting a feel for hardware. I'm still learning, and I must say school takes up a lot of time. But one thing that keeps me motivated is that what I'm learning aligns with both my field of study and the kind of career I want to pursue in the future. Lately, I've realized that I need clear and achievable goals. I need to work on things that can stand on their own as projects and showcase my technical abilities. I need to move beyond the breadboard and the Arduino Uno R3. This realization isn't coming from impatience; it's the result of purposeful thought. The basics are important, but spending all my time on them risks keeping me at the hobbyist level. So moving forward, I want to challenge myself to build things that are useful, standalone, and honestly, even worth paying for. I feel this will help me gain more technical depth and keep me committed. I'm genuinely excited about this new phase. I know it won't be easy, but who cares? 😂
