This morning I was privy to a conversation between people who were discussing their Long Covid. Heart problems Ear problems Metabolism problems Blood problems Nerve problems All six of them talked about how these had happened 'since the last time they were ill'. All of them meant Covid. None of them said the word. And none of them said Long Covid.
@1goodtern The word COVID has been erased in their “internal computing system.” It’s just like the blank stare they give when someone mentions the word Covid to them.

It's the same reaction when talking politics & someone mentions a word like "socialism" or something, and people just zone out as if it's a Pavlovian response 🤷🏼♀️ Talking about relatable experiences connects well with people, minus the triggerlabels, if that info is on hand
