The Lane Fox respiratory unit patients association recently held a summer party for staff, patients and their families. The live music included an accordion performance from a former patient who received highly specialised intensive care during the pandemic. 1/2

The live music included an accordion performance from a former patient who received highly specialised intensive care during the pandemic. 1/2
The family of late patient John Howlett raised over £2,000 in his memory through a sky dive and quiz night. They presented a cheque to the unit. 2/2

@LFRUPA And who else saw it originally when it was Phipps Ward at the South Western Hospital? Iron lungs, Tunnicliffe jackets, Cuirass shells and some very old PPVs with weights!! And when there was a power cut, we had to hand pump every vent until backup generator kicked in! 🤩
