Very true, bigger fish to fry. I still care a bit though, if only for easier context management. Symlink case is fine, but I guess there could be nested dirs/polyglot projects where it adds one more "thing" for a config / harness to consider

@RhysSullivan Try practicing some more tedious work like orthogonal diagonalization by hand too, it builds character I heard the kids these days are calling this “softmaxxing”
Silly sci-fi hypothetical: if an agent <> brain implant chip was somehow possible (& ethical), I feel like @NotionHQ MCP is the first server I’d connect Imagine being able to “remember” all your meeting notes (and all the movies you’ve watched) in any convo 👀 unironically cool
The second one definitely feels valuable to align on. A common language for configuring MCP servers seems overdue, and Claude’s is as good as any! Most of them are slight variations of JSON (or, like TOML maybe for Codex? Haven’t checked in a while) and are pretty similar anyway so a standardized schema makes sense
@Infoxicador Thanks so much, I appreciate the kind words!! And I feel that too. Outside of work, I'm also a "solo dev" on all my side projects. Fun to be able to move fast and play around with different technologies (and not need PR reviews 😂), but it's a different ballgame from enterprise

@sarahmsachs @NotionDevs I see some people have infinite time and tokens on their hands and don’t mind context pollution 👀 im more of a “stop, read this notion tech spec or prd first to catch up” person since I don’t want to wait for it to “explore”
@RhysSullivan Oh yeah awesome! for sure makes sense in that case. Even just an ergonomic thing so you can see in natural language “Loading Stripe customers to populate graph…”; “Fetching experiment details from Notion”, etc.

@_clem @Shpigford @NotionHQ Thanks all for flagging. We found & are fixing a bug where for some users/tiers, this flow was requesting worker capabilities when it shouldn't, hitting the validation error. Fix should be live within a few hours. Appreciate your patience and the reports!

@ShrekOverflow @zeeg My very naive first take is that there’s no secure way to support >1 aside from: - baking a re(auth) barrier into the protocol - weakening or redefining what it means to be a separate “tenant” I definitely might be missing something obvious & compelling here though
Any notable MCP clients or servers out there that support RFC 8628 (OAuth device authorization flow)? I’ve been curious about this for a while since it’d make authorizing remote agents easier (gh cli style)
