BREAKING: indicted 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is accidentally humiliated by his own chief lawyer as the lawyer launches into a pathetic courtroom rant that unintentionally exposes Trump as a serial criminal. Donald Trump’s lawyer embarrassed Trump by begging the judge to allow him to attend the next court hearing “by phone” because Trump has SO many criminal cases against him going full-steam ahead that it would be physically impossible to attend them all in person. Trump’s lawyer, Christopher Kise, told the judge, “As the Court may be aware, the undersigned counsel for President Trump, Christopher M. Kise, is unable to attend the November 1st hearing in person because he is engaged at trial in New York State Supreme Court. Given this conflict, the undersigned respectfully requests that this Court allow him to attend the November 1, 2023, hearing by phone.” Trump’s lawyer continued his whiny courtroom rant, declaring that “the fact that they continue to contend that it is appropriate and not a violation of President Trump's due process rights to push forward with back-to-back multi-month trials in different districts with wholly different facts — over a defendant's objection — reveals a central truth about these cases.” Simply laughable. Trump’s lawyer must not have thought this one through, because instead of making Trump look like the victim of a conspiracy to keep him from winning the pressing back in 2024, it instead painted a vivid picture of Trump as a serial criminal with a schedule that is so packed with felony cases that his lawyers can’t even keep up. The only “central truth” that these countless criminal trials “reveal” is that Trump is a lifelong criminal — and is now finally being held accountable for his actions . Please read and let me know your thoughts: I’ve spent a lot of time studying bad men.  I’ve examined their characteristics, their mannerisms, the utter banality of their cruelty. Yet there’s something different about Donald Trump. When I look at him, I don’t see a bad man. Truly. I see an evil one. Over the years, I’ve met gangsters here and there. This guy tries to be one, but he can’t quite pull it off. There’s such a thing as “honor among thieves.” Yes, even criminals usually have a sense of right and wrong.  Whether they do the right thing or not is a different story — but — they have a moral code, however warped. Donald Trump does not. He’s a wannabe tough guy with no morals or ethics. No sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them. We New Yorkers got to know him over the years that he poisoned the atmosphere and littered our city with monuments to his ego.  We knew first hand that this was someone who should never be considered for leadership.  We tried to warn the world in 2016. The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination.  Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world. We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags. The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior.  That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse. Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously. So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America: This is our last chance. Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator. And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided. So what do we do about it?  I know I’m preaching to the choir here.  What we’re doing today is valuable, but we have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls.   We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House.  They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice.  Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them. Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect.  Let’s not talk about “democracy.”  “Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it.  Let’s talk about right and wrong.  Let’s talk about humanity.  Let’s talk about kindness.  Security for our world.  Safety for our families.  Decency.  Let’s welcome them back.  We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump, and fulfill the mission of this “Stop Trump Summit.”

BREAKING: Donald Trump suffers a devastating loss as a federal judge hands a sweeping victory to former Trump campaign aide Jessica Denson and voids the 2016 campaign's nondisclosure agreement for being overly restrictive — freeing an additional 422 employees to speak as well. But it gets even worse for Trump. Denson was also awarded $450,000 in legal fees to her defense team and a $25,000 incentive fee for representing the class action. Now, Denson and the 422 former employees can speak about their 2016 experiences without fear of legal reprisal because the judge ruled the NDAs was too restrictive and as such "“nvalid and unenforceable." Denson had previously accused the Trump campaign of sexual discrimination and personally won a lawsuit focused on her personal NDA before expanding to target the entire campaign. Given how nakedly criminal and predatory the Trump campaign was and is, there's no telling what these hundreds of employees may now reveal... BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell publicly humiliates Trumper Congressman Jim Jordan to his face in front of Congress. It all started when Jim Jordan attacked attacked Biden Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas at today’s hearing. That’s when Swalwell stepped in, calling out Jim Jordan by telling Defense Secretary Mayorkas, “Frankly, sir, I think you’re too nice because if I had a Chairman(Jordan) who failed to honor his own lawful subpoena about 500 days after it was submitted to him, I would say catch me ‘when you’re serious.’ But that’s not who you are, you take your job seriously even in front of a lot of unserious people.  But Swalwell didn’t stop there, telling Defense Secretary Mayorkas that Jordan and the rest of the Republicans on the committee “are not serious people. They chide people for their pronouns. They obsess and display in the committee and in other committees a private citizen’s non-consensual nude images(Hunter Biden). We’re not talking about serious people. We’re not talking about people who are on the level.” Well said, Congressman Swalwell. BREAKING: Florida Republicans suffer a historic humiliation as a new report exposes their education policy which teaches that slaves benefitted from their bondage — it turns out that HALF of the example individuals used were never even slaves in the first place. Buckle up, because this one is a doozy... Thanks to Republicans, Florida's 2023 Social Studies curriculum for sixth to eighth grade falsely teaches that "slaves developed skills" that could be used for "personal benefit." Apparently, conservatives think that being forced to do brutal agricultural work and other tasks was really just a form of resume building. But when asked to provide specific examples of individuals who benefitted from their time as slaves, Florida's revisionist account of history completely fell apart. The state listed sixteen names when asked to provide proof that slavery benefitted Black people. One example they gave was Lewis Latimer. A museum dedicated to him states that he was in fact born to free, self-liberated parents in 1848. He later went on to become an inventor and helped develop the telephone — but none of the skills he used came from being a slave since he never was a slave. Several of the other examples were likewise born free. Clearly, Florida Republicans cannot provide real examples of slaves benefitting from enslavement because no such examples exist. This offensively false idea is just the latest conservative effort to downplay the brutality and evil of slavery — and in doing so push the idea that Black people should simply "move on" since it wasn't that bad. It's as ahistorical as it is racist.
