Ordinarily, Her Majesty's Opposition never wastes an opportunity to find a reason to attack the governing party. Even if it involves hypocrisy on their part. Opportunism is the name of the game. So you might imagine that the possibility that the government had been responsible for rolling out an unsafe and ineffective medical intervention to the entire population, knowing, from a very early stage, that it was causing death and injury in high numbers, would very quickly be used as a stick to beat the government remorsely with. The fact that the Labour and Liberal Democrat Party are completely silent on this issue just shows who really owns our politics and politicians.
