This is wrong, but not in the way you expect.. Samourai wallet could be run in a mode that didn't use their servers. They just happened to default to their servers. Both require relayers. TC team ran relayers. It's +/- identical at a software level.

@Justin_Bons Fundamentally, it’s about the money. The freedom, democracy etc are subjective. I’m here for gains but I have a bias towards utility and less about decentralization. I care more about UX than decentralization.

Crypto has been so disappointing since the goal of cheap, Private, P2P TX, has been forgotten in place of whatever the space has become. It's like who cares if we don't have the above foundation? Oh, wait... $XMR
@Justin_Bons When there are a few VC's who hold most of it sure looks like the old fiat world all over. But I do agree that L1 scaling is underrated. But for me BTC is not it, neither is ETH nor is SOL, all have one or more significant flaws.
