I have all sorts of problems with DEI ideology and DEI practice. But if these dumbasses are going to simply use DEI as a synonym for “black” then count me out. This is so monstrously stupid and offensive.

@JonahDispatch @TPCarney Maybe they mean Black AND appearing to be 16 years old, how can you be sure, Jonah, you judgmental RINO NeverTrumper neocon cuck?
@JonahDispatch That dude is not using DEI as a synonym for black, they are using it as a synonym for a word that starts with N.
@JonahDispatch Seems fine to me. Now lets get to work. There is a bridge to clean up and build.
@JonahDispatch Do you guys think these people genuinely don’t understand that grooming and clothing choices play a large part in how you’re received as a first impression or are they fully aware and just ignoring it to virtue signal?
@JonahDispatch Agreed. But its the inevitable outcome of replacing merit with identify politics.
@JonahDispatch Yeah that post is likely to become a significant liability for the anti-DEI movement...which is a shame because DEI itself is broadly terrible in practice.
@JonahDispatch Well, it doesn’t mean White. Thats what the D means.
DEI doesn’t just mean “black”. It means “black and unqualified”. No one ever called Clarence Thomas “that DEI justice”. Ketanji, on the other hand, was selected purely because she’s a black woman. Which makes it particularly ironic that she couldn’t identity what a woman is. Ketanji is black and unqualified. The very definition of a DEI hire.
