I think I am beginning to appreciate what it meant to my grandparents’ generation when FDR offered them a new deal. Like that generation, I believe we will be better off if we choose the way forward where we are #StrongerTogether.

During this unprecedented year, when virtually every person in the world has suffered the effects of a global pandemic, there is nothing more important we can do this Christmas than to rivet our focus on the Savior and on the gift of what His life really means to each of us.
Republicans have tried and failed to repeal the ACA at least 70 times in Congress and twice through the courts, but as was heard in today’s oral arguments, the Supreme Court must be deferential to Congress’s intent and uphold the law.
The Lord has promised that if we will ask, we may receive “revelation upon revelation” (D&C 42:61). I promise that as you increase your capacity to receive revelation, the Lord will bless you with increased direction for your life and with boundless gifts of the Spirit. #HearHim
Maybe one day, like a miracle, it will disappear. But I think the safer course of action is to make sure you vote.
So apparently, according to Donald Trump and his supporters, it seems like Joe Biden has been president these last three years - but only for the failures. Of which, there have of course been a lot.
Thinking today of how presidents in the past have spoken about those who gave their lives in service to country. And the pinnacle of that sentiment comes to mind: Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. I re-read it last night and felt it was worth sharing here.
Maybe it is time to retire the phrase “The Party of Lincoln?”
I am confident that every other president in my lifetime would be speaking forcefully in support of the pro democracy protesters in Belarus. This is a shameful abdication of American leadership.
Nobody paying attention to what has been happening the last 3-plus years should be surprised that the Republican Party has no platform other than saluting and normalizing the whims of their divisive and mercurial leader.

Kamala is a good friend and incredibly strong public servant. Sometimes campaigns can tear friendships apart but we grew closer — and I know she has what it takes to lead side-by-side with @JoeBiden.
