I've read them all and it's obvious you haven't, just what other people say about them. Polytheism implies we have many gods that we worship, we don't, and that those gods are equal to the Godhead or God of Israel, they aren't. Rather they are "gods" because they are the sons of God, as attested to in many NT scriptures. Otherwise what do you do with John 10?

I don't think you can separate the two in the hypostatic union, and God doesn't have flesh anyway, so any flesh would be the human nature...I think. Once upon a time I went through Aquinas and the discussion of "nature" and "accidents" but honestly, that was a long time ago and I am not sure I understood it even then.

So when you say that you like LDS, you respect them, and think they are good people, etc. but they aren't Christians because of something like...they believe Satan and Jesus are brothers, I'm sorry, but I just don't believe you. A person that actually liked us, would talk to us, and get to understand our views from our perspective and recognize that there are complex technical nuances to our beliefs. Even if they disagreed, they would give our side a fair hearing and would not just utter some pat bumpersticker slogan designed to belittle us or confuse others. If I said, for example, that I like Catholics, I respect them, they are good people, but they are not Christians because they are cannibals, (because they believe in the transubstantiation) everyone would know I was only saying the first part to throw a cover over my own bigotry. I would rather you just owned up to it and dispensed with the false pleasantries. Thank you.

@MillenialMormon Sadly, it's the best made and most coherent of the three, but you are right, it's the worst in that it is an act of intentional cultural vandalism. Rise of Skywalker is just baffling with its plot holes and lack of understanding of basic narrative or even causality.

They hated us and expelled us from two states long before anyone knew about polygamy. Besides, by 53 no one was hiding polygamy, and you still denied us statehood for another 43 years, oh, and launched a war against us with the single largest standing army to that date, kept 5k troops around to watch us, so many, Lincoln didn't have enough troops for the Union, then persecuted us, disenfranchised us and wrote two laws, the Edmunds Act and Edmunds Tucker act which prevented us from voting, holding office and even owning any property in excess of 50K, and then seized our property and rented it back to us at exorbitant prices or just trashed it and hunted down our leaders. So kindly be quiet when you are ignorant of reality.

Here's the Magician from the Rider-Waite deck made in 1909. You can see he is a ceremonial magician, and an obvious symbol of mastery and power. On the right is the magician from the Visconti-Sforza deck from the 15th C. He's an obvious carny and street hustler looking for a mark. Complete perversion of the intent of the original Tarot.

The modern deck is all whacked. The Magician in the Sforza deck is clearly a charlatan, a three-card monty kind of character, and one of the weakest cards in the deck, yet Waite treats it as one of the highest cards and makes it a ritual magician. Meanwhile The Fool, was one of the highest trumps in the original Tarot and represented the Holy Fool, the person who has given all up for enlightenment, and seems a fool to the world but is secretely wise, but the Waite deck portrays it as a young naive fool. All modern tarot books are garbage ruined by bored Victorian occultists.

When the winter Olympics happened in Salt Lake there was an apartment complex near the Olympic village. Utah has a lot of former missionaries so to get in the spirit they all put out flags of the all nations they had visited. One put out a flag of Taiwan.
