The Members of JWEC co-chaired a meeting regarding Water issues and gave the following instructions: 1. WASA was instructed to expedite the process of #waterwastage challans. 2. EPA Kasur has been instructed to take samples of all tanneries and submit its results report.

Canal Irrigation Moghas opened as a consequence of LHC & JWEC's Directions, were found to have succumbed to PHA's neglect. The JWEC took immediate action and had the same reopened and cleared of debris; these efforts will #savegroundwater, by irrigation through surface water.

The Judicial Water and Environment Commission, with the approval of its Honorable Members, visited the Miyawaki forest in Gulshan Iqbal Park along with interns of Batch-II. The purpose of the visit was to understand the importance and effect of trees on #Environment.

We've set up 13 contact centers for relief and rescue facilitation. I'm personally monitoring on the ground too, visiting sites.
