The U.S.A. doesn’t make these solid brass snaps anymore. Not a single one. Just a few decades ago, USA manufacturers boasted that “9 times out of 10” they’d make the parts in New Britain, Connecticut. Casting brass and finishing these snaps used to be a competency of American manufacturing. Now it’s gone. We were able to get our hands on a few boxes of these NOS snaps from 1951 for a project launching soon. Keep an eye out!

I want to believe it. I’ve called two of these sources and both of them mentioned that they used to be made in the USA and no longer are. I believe they just haven’t updated the website yet. Nothing malicious on their part, but I don’t think these are made in the states anymore. Again, I’d be happy to be wrong, but I’ve tried following these leads before 😔

@Pokemonprimed At this point, it may need to cost $10 per snap from the USA while imported from China and Italy might be closer to $3-5. Hopefully not but we’re prepared to pay it. Hopefully customers will see the value 🇺🇸
