Today I am announcing the wait list for @browsingbuddies The application will: Automate Your Social Media Interactions for All your Social Accounts It will essentially like, reply, and follow potential customers for your business based on keywords you set and semantically similar relevant keywords as well. For example: I will set it to like, reply, and follow anyone that mentions anything related to Google Analytics with @UseAtribusi and the AI will determine whether they're a potential customer and interact with them in a meaningful way or it will ignore them since they're simply looking for a setting or explaining a new feature of Google Analytics, etc. Backstory: In November a couple of months after I launched Auto Page Rank I found myself spending 3 hours every morning on Twitter and Reddit searching and replying to people that could be potential customers for the application. It was a massive time sink and I Tweeted several times saying someone should build a tool that at least partially automates this process. I used F5Bot for Reddit but it still required a lot of effort to determine whether the content was relevant or not and the replies were usually very involved. In December I decided I needed to build a tool that could at least partially tackle the problem of automating "meaningful interactions" on Twitter, Reddit, and later LinkedIn (I'll talk about this in a bit). The idea is for the bot to interact meaningfully with potential customers to maintain a marketing presence. For example if a potential customer posts on Twitter or LinkedIn about "raising another round" then I want my business account to reply to them by congratulating them and I want it done on Auto Pilot. It's humanly impossible to stay on top of every potential customer therefore automation is the way to go. My main idea is to indirectly market all of my SaaS applications and those of others. It's kind of like how Coca Cola is advertised everywhere but they aren't really telling you to drink them but everyone knows who they are and how it tastes. The application can also directly shill the product if desired, it can essentially reply with a context sensitive reply or anything you give it! in the future I may add the option to train the bot on your lingo so that it writes like how you naturally write. I am also planning to add Personas so that each type of content will receive a more balanced and natural response. Let me know what you think!

Last week I sold @autopagerank! It is my first exit and it has rejuvenated the crap out of me! MRR: 💲140 Acquisition price: 💲4500 Infrastructure bill: 💲150 (lol) Total user count: 126 sold to: @TeoStonks Why I'm excited: 1. I had 0 distribution with prospects. All of my customers came from Twitter or Reddit 2. For most users the solution was short lived since they weren't creating a significant amount of content so churn was baked into the solution. 3. Marketing a low budget app with stiff competition really stinks. 4. No more support related stress and significant profit on what I consider a flawed solution. I think Google will eventually crack down on non-job board websites using the API. 5. I get to focus on more realistic apps with less platform risk One thing I wish I could automate when building APR was the social media marketing. I spent hours everyday on Twitter and Reddit trolling people. I am currently building @browsingbuddies to automate the entire social media marketing process. Browsing Buddies will be a social media tool that is expected to utilize business profiles and comment/like relative content on Twitter, Reddit, and LinkedIn. The idea is to maintain a marketing presence for a product and more so than any human could possibly do since even the best intern can't keep up with all three platforms simultaneously. #buildinpublic

MRR Update 💲💲💲! @autopagerank Just hit $100 MRR. 3/5 of the monthly customers came from a tweet by @foliofed. 2/5 from Reddit so technically @gummy_search is the reason? Don't sleep on the idea of building together. #buildinpublic

November financials 💲💲💲 update: @autopagerank total revenue for November: $727 and I think profit is revenue minus $30. December is Already off to a great start with $195 in revenue. Pretty decent for being almost completely passive. #buildinpublic

@smcla I think the personalization piece is the most important. Optimizing for mobile is important as well but it really depends on your target audience, I usually look at my email notifications on my cell phone then immediately go to my computer to reply.

@cogentgene I personally use the template as a starting point, it usually takes a few more days to customize it and add all of the functionality and missing pages.
