Betting does not control sport, nor should it ever be considered in on-field decisions. Ever.

I understand why NSW didn't take the last conversion but when you have betting all sorts of options I feel that the kick can no longer be optional. I understand it is allowed under the rules but it would leave a bad taste in your mouth if you needed those 2 points

The second is a growing issue in the nrl to "neutralise" home games. Origin should be tribalistic and uncomfortable for the away team. There should be no hyping the away team or even acknowledging there fans. Sanatising this spoils the spectacle
