Every year for vday her dad always took her on a date and this year since she was in college, they planned a virtual date where she would fit him when she could. She went out to eat and when she sat down a few minutes later he walked up beside her and said "how about we have dinner together" and she absolutely lost it. THE BEST SURPRISE EVER! What a cool dad! ❤️
Yep, its all good saying male suicide is terrible but beyond that, there is a real sense that many just accept the issues facing men. In some cases it goes beyond putting their heads in the sand. They seem to believe men having issues is just how it goes. In essence saying, men should have problems.
Loneliness can push us to find belonging in unexpected ways. The drive to feel part of something is one of our most basic human needs.
I live alone & have no friends. In the summer my neighbour often has all his mates around & they have a bbq & beers. I silently sit on the other side of the fence drinking beer & pretend I'm drinking with them. I know all their names, wives & kids but they don't know I exist

@bbcquestiontime Indeed, to be attacked on appearance in efforts to belittle someone is rude and unproductive. Striving to be fit and healthy on the other hand is incredibly productive. To be fit is more than the superficial image. It serves to the bolster the mind and body.
@NecktieSalvage Well said. It's very easy to get sucked into the minute by minute updates on Middle Eastern news. It becomes a roller coaster of wanting to know what happens next. That level of mental investment can make you feel like you're in the madness yourself..
Men's rights activists have either experienced or witnessed serious issues negatively impacting men, and they want to seek solutions. Feminism has been a monumental movement advancing women's rights, and it's clear this has also affected men in various ways. "We need a male-centered approach" resonates strongly. Many men avoid therapy because they want to solve problems themselves. Effective support doesn't pathologise men or dictate solutions, it empowers them with resources that respect their autonomy. Supporting men means equipping them to overcome challenges on their own terms and not by telling them they're broken.
