@thsottiaux First-class, enforceable workflow orchestration. We built a plugin routing Codex through an execution graph, with pre-commit enforcement for planning, parallel agents, review, verification and retries. Native graphs, hooks, I/O contracts and policy enforcement would be a awesome.

Cursor’s founder on why AI makes the next engineer more valuable, not less. The New York Times spends ~$150M-$200M a year on software R&D, even though most people do not think of it as a software company. As a senior software engineer, I can tell you that we’ve crossed a threshold in the last six months with Gemini 2.5, GPT-5, and more recently, Sonnet 4.5. I don’t really code anymore. I prompt and supervise. I’m still needed, because the AI can drift into strange tangents. But with the right scaffolding and rules in place, Sonnet 4.5 has become an excellent coder.
