What I learned from not drinking for a year 1. If you need a drink to be around someone you don't like that being around that person. 2. Needing to drink to be social makes you more anti-social. 3. Not drinking can unleash your potential when pointed in the right direction.
@FitFounder I've had several people tell me that I was "more fun" when I was drinking. "We miss the old times." Yeah, sorry. I'm doing better and better over here. Call me when you want to move life itself instead of weekend moves.
@FitFounder We all should realize the benefits of not drinking.
@FitFounder I'm now 4 years deep in to this journey. My 2 primary motivations were: 1) The birth of my first child 2) I believe we are essentially antennas, & alcohol interferes with our receptors. I wanted a clear signal to be the best parent possible & to let my true purpose come to life.
@FitFounder Literal poison. Not a hater, just is. Body reflects it, makes you loose with your morals and feel terrible for 24 hours. If you need alcohol for fun, take that 60$ you’d spend to get drunk and do something you love.
@FitFounder 4. 0% missed or unproductive days as a result of a hangover
@FitFounder You can't improve yourself when you're not sober.
@FitFounder Nothing good ever came from drinking! I’ve done it way too many times to count over the years. Quitting was a relief though in the long run. One less burden to deal with Dan. Happy Sunday Dan.
@FitFounder My biggest lesson was that when you stop drinking you find out who were your true friends.
@FitFounder I’ve gone 6 weeks without drinking, at a recent gathering I found myself craving one to help me settle down around people.. showed me how much I was using it as a crutch
