Seriously @Meta. You had the vision, but crappy execution. No one likes to look like something from Cocomelon. @Apple did do something with Persona, even in Beta. How about face tracking Quest Pro 2 with enabled Codec Avatars for Messenger, Whatsapp and others?

I have worked in VR for 10 years. To see Meta still push this seriously as the future of social interaction is honestly depressing. To see brilliant technology like VR run by corporate clowns who don’t even care about the technology. I am saddened and disgusted.

@elonmusk @MarioNawfal I agree with both sides. We should recruit the best in the world, or someone else will do it. However, it should be with the condition of training the future engineers from rural America, urban America that will benefit the country on the long run.
