@CastielDraven @Haki987 Raptors play their best basketball when RJ and Scottie are on the floor. They are a year apart and they both like to play fast. They also have complimentary skillsets. We saw it in 4k during the playoffs. RJS job isn't to be a lock down defender, it's to give a efficient 20ppg.

@CastielDraven @Haki987 If RJ was American he'd still have the best net rating on the team, the team would still be below .500 when he doesn't play and he'd still lead the team in PPG N RPG in the postseason. This is NOT about him being Canadian. It's about his impact and his mentality.

@ClutchTimeHoopz Spacing issues r cuz no one in the front court can shoot. CMB, Scottie, Poeltl is the worst jump shooting front court in NBA RJ in decent space would shoot league average from 3. He averaged more ppg than Sb, has higher FG% than BI & has the best offensive rating on the team.

@CastielDraven @Haki987 Being capable of good defense situationally is what wins rings. Take Jaylen brown for example. His defensive advanced metrics were horrible this season BUT when it mattered he shut Luka down in the finals. RJ is here to score, the franchise player is the defensive guy.
