@ChefReactions I'm as much of a glutton as anyone, but Instagram has caused this kind of crap to explode. Weirdly huge steaks, burgers, sandwiches that are 20 inches thick, etc. They don't add any real enjoyment and are just fodder for IG likes.

@CJP080901 @jasonwillems @cooltechtipz true. or flour. However for the vast majority of liquids used in cooking it will work--wine, milk, cream, oil, soy sauce it will work. For REALLY thick things-ketchup, mayo, honey, it won't. But those weights to volume conversions are easily found on the internet.

@jasonwillems @cooltechtipz even better 1000 ml = 1L = 1000 g = 1KG any serious cooking should be done by weight, not volume measure (outside of very small amounts). With metric, nothing to remember. Get a 25 dollar digital scale and get rid of all your measuring cups

@slutriarch @_ThomasGWhite_ much/most of the roots of the huge increase in wealth inequality can be traced directly back to changes in tax policies from the Reagan era. If you graph out all of the worsening changes in inequality. the inflection points pretty clearly are from the mid 80's
