It’s always somehow reassuring to me after listening to SCOTUS Oral Arguments when I read an @ElieNYC thread and see that I got pissed off at the same things he did. I mean, I know it all kind of sucks, but at least I feel like I *know* it all kind of sucks.

The rule of law will be put to one of the largest tests this country has ever seen. The need for transparency couldn’t be more important. That’s why I’m happy we as a nation have grown and innovated to the point where we can see the trial for ourselves play out in chalk drawings.

If I’m Judge Merchan, I let trump go to the kids graduation. In fact, I’d go so far as to order him to go. It would have more impact than a fine. Within an hour he’d be wishing he were back in court because at least that would be about him.

The path our country the Speaker is apparently at “war” with includes healthcare for all people, corporations paying their taxes, infrastructure, education, equity, and a booming economy. Notice too he didn’t say what his alternative is. It’s the opposite btw, but with prayers.
