Wow it’s actually really profound that she said she respects & understands his choice. Ppl who complete suicide are often portrayed as selfish, weak etc and it completely ignores the journey they went on throughout their life. Her choosing to speak about him in such a loving way even with the choice he made is truly beautiful.

@DeeLaSheeArt @TaylorzPower I love how you said “complete” rather than “commit.” I think I read somewhere how commit has a negative connotation
@DeeLaSheeArt I have been working so hard to feel this way for years about an old friend, both Regina's, then your words just struck me and finally made it make sense. His birthday was 10 days ago so he's been on my mind and this gives me a small sense of peace. Thank you, truly.
@DeeLaSheeArt Yeah that part choked me up. As a person who is still struggling with depression & suicidal ideation.. to hear her as parent humanizing her child & his choice.. I wish that was norm. She didn’t make it abt her & let it be known he didn’t do anything wrong, he freed himself.. 😭
@DeeLaSheeArt my heart breaks a little every time i see her with her son... his choice still hurt but the way she speaks of him with so much love
@DeeLaSheeArt Regina, my heart and prayers go out to you. Recently, I read, move forward, not move on! That mantra brought me some solace🫂
@DeeLaSheeArt That was everything. She has done the work 💪 🙏
@DeeLaSheeArt This is confirmation...I just wrote the letter to my son saying all of this. The grief, shame, sadness only a parent could know. I'm going in the right direction. We gonna be alright. Thank God.
