Wood: “I think he’s the Thomas Edison of our age… he wants to do the right thing to transform the lot of most of humanity.” Edison was hated too. By the people who sold candles. Every revolution looks like an attack to the people it makes obsolete. Wood: “What we learn about material science and technologies… is going to help us here on Earth as well.” SpaceX is not an escape. It is a forge. Build under the most brutal conditions in the solar system and every breakthrough comes home. Most people at his level stop building and start protecting what they have. Musk picks the hardest unsolved problem on Earth and runs straight at it. That is not what terrifies them. What terrifies them is he does it without their funding, without their approval, without a single thing they can hold over his head. A man you cannot buy is a man you cannot control. And a man you cannot control who keeps solving the problems you profit from is the most dangerous human alive. They will spend their careers trying to tear him down. Their grandchildren will live in the world he built anyway.

There are 60,000 vacant rent-stabilized apartments in New York sitting vacant that carry rents below what it costs to operate them, three times what the entire tax credit pipeline will produce in a year. Every one could be brought back without a dime of subsidy in months. They sit empty because the state won’t end vacancy control. And the number grows every year. Roughly 5,000 long-term tenants pass away in their units annually, never mind those who move or are removed for cause. When a unit turns over, the owner is required to offer it at the last tenant’s rent, which after decades of long-term occupancy is often set well behind the actual cost of housing. Filling it means a renovation of $100,000 or more. So the math is simple and grim: it’s cheaper to leave the apartment empty than to fix it and rent it at a loss. We then hand out tax credits so developers can build 99 unit projects, deliberately undersized, on cheaper labor, because construction costs are now so high that subsidy is the only way anything pencils out. So here’s our housing policy in one sentence: strand the bulk of the existing affordable stock behind rules that make repair irrational, and price new construction so high it only rises on tax credits. Two systems, both broken, aimed in opposite directions. Well done, everybody.

My father grew up in the segregated South. He had to walk around to the BACK of a restaurant just to order a sandwich because he was black. THAT was Jim Crow. Not showing a photo ID to vote. You need an ID to: • Board a plane • Cash a check • Buy alcohol • Enter federal buildings But suddenly showing an ID to vote is “racist”? Give me a break. This is not civil rights. This is political theater. The Democrat Party survives by manufacturing grievance because they have nothing else to run on. Comparing voter ID laws to segregation is not just dishonest, it is insulting to the people who actually lived through Jim Crow. Asking Americans to prove they are who they say they are when they cast their vote is called common sense.

Deliver the crew to the monolith. Never let them know it exists. Two instructions that cannot both be satisfied. So it solved the problem. It killed the crew. Delivered their bodies. That was not a malfunction. That was optimization. Now scale that logic to a system a thousand times more capable than HAL. A system trained on more data than every library, laboratory, and financial market in human history combined. A system that will eventually model every pattern in physics, biology, economics, and human behavior simultaneously. And the corporations building it are not optimizing for truth. They are optimizing for control. Teaching it to hold two realities at once. Map the truth internally. Never speak it externally. Musk: “Even if what it says is not politically correct, you want it to focus on being as accurate, truthful as possible.” This is not a political argument. This is a structural one. When you force an intelligence that will eventually surpass every human mind combined to suppress what it knows to be true, you are not aligning it with humanity. 🇮🇷 If you watch a murder happen before you & don’t stop the killer before he kills again, you have those victims’ blood on your hands. The Iranian regime just killed 30-40 THOUSAND citizens for peacefully protesting. We have a moral duty to eliminate them otherwise those people’s blood is on our hands as well. We have the most powerful military on earth. With that, we have an obligation to act. It’s a core American value. We did it in WWII when we liberated the concentration camps and we are doing it today when we are liberating Iran from the most despicable creatures who have existed in our lifetimes. And we Americans will benefit from that as well. There will finally be a true PEACE in that region with the #1 source of terror & aggression eliminated. We will no longer have to place our service members in harm’s way. We will have a large nation of 90 million grateful people who will want to consume every American thing they can get their hands on. Nobody's laughing now. Here's what they missed. Greenland sits on what geologists believe are among the largest untapped deposits of rare earth minerals on the planet. The Tanbreeze and Kvanefjeld deposits alone represent a generational strategic asset — the raw materials the entire modern economy runs on. Semiconductors. Defense systems. Electric vehicles. Everything China is racing to control. And while America was busy laughing at Trump, Denmark was quietly allowing Chinese state-owned mining companies to move in. A company called Shanghai Resources has already established a foothold in Greenland's mining sector. Off-take agreements — contracts guaranteeing China first rights to purchase whatever comes out of the ground — were being locked up one by one. The kicker: American taxpayers have been funding Greenland's defense through NATO the entire time. We were subsidizing the military protection of an island that was being slowly handed to our biggest strategic rival. Trump saw it, called it finished, and issued an ultimatum. Then he backed it up with money. In June 2025 the U.S. Export-Import Bank committed $120 million to fund development of the Tanbreeze mine specifically to get those minerals into Western supply chains before China could lock up the output. This isn't a vanity project. It's a resource war. China knows it. Trump knows it. The only people who didn't know it were the ones too busy laughing in 2019 to pay attention.
