At the end of dinner on my recent visit to Rome I asked for a cappuccino & the check. The waiter said: “I’ll bring you a cappuccino. The check can wait.” That was code for “Chill the fuck out and enjoy your cappuccino, sir.” Thank you for reminding me what’s important Italy ❤️🇮🇹

Louvre Abu Dhabi. I was exploring this place yesterday and saw a quote on the wall of the museum: “In Africa, when an old man dies, a library burns to the ground.” Made me wonder if I’m doing enough to stay curious and learn from all of the walking libraries I encounter each day.
