@jofromcoastalFL @ModestTeacher The fact that the US was never #1 in education makes the claim bs. It’s a right wing talking point that has been repeated so much that people believe it. Of course I want the US education system to be better! It’s my life’s work! Spreading misinformation doesn’t help, though.

@CrusaderPatriot @Matt_Pinner They were on THE MOON. Of course they could plant an angled camera. I forgot if the camera tracked the LEM or if it was a static shot…but I’m pretty sure filming leaving the moon wasn’t a particularly difficult task….compared to the rest of the endeavor.

@GjofFreyr @Grunt2A Yup, punk rock is primarily a left leaning movement, but there are certainly exceptions. The claim was that punk bands support the government. The current president and Senate are republican. The Supreme Courts has a conservative majority. Doubt too many punks are pro gov.

@BowTiedAsset @BowtiedQueenBee @ModestTeacher I hate that you had such an experience. I am a principal at a very good public school (one of the best in the state). I also went to public schools until college. My brother, friends, and I had positive experiences. They are not all like what you experienced/think.
