In this thread I explain how black & brown people are being targeted by Ecuador’s government simply because they are poor. Half of the population is poor and more than 25% live with less than 2 dollar a day. They are k*lling black & brown people in jail and they have no rights.
This is Ecuador. Prisons are filled with racialized & black ppl, where massacres of dozens to hundreds occur every few months. In a corrupt justice system, they don’t separate someone accused of murder from someone charged with minor drug dealing. There is no access to medicine.
4 black kids were abducted by 16 Ecuadorian militaries and they burned their bodies. Ecuadors president did everything in his power to imply they weren’t innocent so they deserved it until Courts proven him wrong. The youngest was 11 & oldest 15.
