We did a lot of optimization for our layer matching algorithm. The result? In some instances of complex nested animations our engine renders the prototypes better than Figma itself 🚀
Version 126.0.0 just got released 🎉
> GIF Diffing Optimization: Our latest update implements an advanced diffing algorithm, resulting in substantially reduced GIF file sizes. This enhancement translates to faster load times and more efficient storage, all while maintaining exceptional quality.
> Grouped Nodes Performance: We've refined the efficiency of manipulating grouped objects, enabling smoother movement and scaling operations.

Recording your iPad can give great results, but you can also use the @CreativeFlow AI plugin on Figma to export your prototype as gifs or MP4 video formats.
As we celebrate the arrival of the New Year, I'd like to extend my gratitude to all our followers, customers, and everyone who has cheered us to get here...thank you.. really! 💜 As a gesture of appreciation and to kick off 2024 on a promising note, I have a special gift 🎁 for those of you who aspire to start your own software business in 2024:
If you're a seasoned software engineer looking to broaden your skill set into the realm of business, I highly recommend giving Indie hacking a shot.
I did it for over a year before fully committing to my current long-term business venture, which demands a more substantial setup compared to the solo-preneurship path.
The beauty of Indie hacking is that you can explore it as a side pursuit alongside your primary career. And what I learned from it helped me tremendously to build the larger scale business me and my team are building today.
Now, let's talk about how to choose the right idea. I've personally observed a strategy that consistently yields positive results. You can't go wrong with my suggestion.
Consider these two approaches, and I'll provide examples to illustrate their potential for success:
Approach 1: Transform an expensive service into an affordable one. Most SaaS companies gradually raise their prices, whether justified or not. For instance, I currently pay hundreds of dollars per month to manage a basic customer list on emailoctopus.com, which is already one of the more budget-friendly options available. As your list expands, so do the costs. Many companies, like Duolingo, opt to develop their own in-house solutions using heavyweight infrastructure such as AWS SES. Just imagine the value your future service could offer in terms of time and effort saved for such businesses.
Approach 2: Keep an eye on emerging tools gaining popularity, monitor them on Product Hunt and within the tech community, and try to create a superior user interface for them. This approach may be temporary, but it's effective. Take, for example, Tony Dinh, who's currently making $33K/month with typingmind.com simply because ChatGPT is advancing at such a rapid pace that they can't keep up with UI enhancements. Promising companies often start with modest designs in their early days, later making significant improvements. While I mentioned it might be temporary, there's no guarantee – OpenAI could even acquire such a service down the road.
Tony builds in public and he shares not just his MRR, but his whole journey and his struggles selflessly in order to motivate others to follow his footsteps. You can find him here: x.com/tdinh_me
But, If your aspirations extend to building a long-term business over 5-10 years, you might find yourself on a venture capital journey, much like my own with CreativeFlow.ai. On that note, if you happen to know serious investors in North America, please consider connecting me with them.
Wishing you a fantastic New Year ahead!

Thanks to advanced algorithms we are implementing at @CreativeFlow, soon you will be able to use very high quality GIFs in your emails and presentations without the fear of the animation being pixelated.
