It’s certifiably insane that the majority of the public doesn’t even bat an eye at this. A foreign born Indian is CEO of America’s 4th largest tech company. Hires another foreign born Indian as CEO of America’s largest gaming company. The CEOs jointly fire Americans, replacing Americans with Indian employees. Thousands of Americans losing high paying jobs, being kicked down the socioeconomic ladder. With Indians hired as replacements, the money and resources from those jobs that would’ve gone to our citizens will be siphoned by foreigners, mostly to be sent back to India as a remittance. It will leave and never come back to America. This is definitionally a form of warfare against the American public.

Her fingerprints are on every page. The entire point of the story is that mortals, in spite of all their pride and greed, are the playthings of the gods and therefore must be humble and behave honorably or they will be punished. The male god Poseidon is the antagonist, and the hero is Athena, who repeatedly leads the otherwise helpless characters to resolution and peace. This knowledge could be yours, if you read the book

Lupita Nyong’o never even knew what “The Odyssey” was prior to being cast as Helen of Troy. Mind you, she attended a New England private liberal arts college for her bachelor’s and got her MFA from Yale. There are 8 year-old children at classical schools who read an adaptation of “The Odyssey” and can speak to its themes. She was asked if she were sitting in a theater next to Homer and could ask him about her performance, what would she ask? Nyong’o responds: “So, Homer, how do you feel about the screen time given to these women considering how little you spent with them?” She then does the sassy, smirking head turn. DEI wokeslop is bad enough. But the smugness of, “I can judge the Western canon” by someone who lacks the basic knowledge and intellectual capacity to appreciate Homer is even worse. Her response isn’t, “So Homer, was my performance faithful to your vision?” or “What did you like most about Helen’s portrayal?” No, it was some nonsense about “representation”, the furthest thing from an actual, original thought. I hope this movie fails. I hope the entire Hollywood industry collapses. A.I. will accelerate this, as it will democratize the technology to the point that some random dude with an anime avatar and an autistic obsession with ancient history will create a better portrayal of Homer than this colossal Nolan failure. Perhaps then, out of the rubble, we can once more create movies worth watching.

Circe turns men into pigs, which frankly is still the most realistic female character arc in literature. Calypso traps the hero on an island for seven years. Cassandra can literally see the future but nobody listens, making her the first woman in recorded history to experience a meeting. The Sirens weaponize music. Nausicaa saves Odysseus when he washes up naked and useless. Andromache gives one of the most devastating anti-war speeches in the Iliad. Hecuba is basically the emotional wreckage of empire in human form. Aphrodite starts half the problems in Western civilization by being hot and petty. Hera is running divine opposition research. Thetis gets Zeus involved because Achilles is having a workplace dispute. But apart from Helen, Athena, Penelope, Circe, Calypso, Cassandra, the Sirens, Nausicaa, Andromache, Hecuba, Aphrodite, Hera, and Thetis... WHAT HAS HOMER EVER DONE TO GIVE FEMALE CHARACTERS ATTENTION?

Have you ever watched a horror movie with vampires? Not sexy vampires for middle aged dumpy wine aunts to masturbate to, but actual lore accurate vampires? You've seen that movie, right? Well, I feel like I'm in that movie. It's not that I hate grandma. She's nice. Loves people. Bakes cookies. But she keeps trying to open the goddamned window. Every time I point out that some institution of our former society is being worn as a skinsuit by corrupt self-interest masquerading as socialism masquerading as compassion, there's always those guys who are shocked and betrayed that I attacked their beloved thing. No. Your beloved thing is gone. It doesn't matter what it did for you 30 years ago. It's not 30 years ago now. The soul of your beloved thing was eaten by a monster, and now it has become a monster itself. And if you're not willing to stake Grandpa through the heart for that, or, worse yet, if you try to stop the rest of us, yelling "Grandpa! Noooooooo!", grabbing at someone's wrist as he's trying to raise the big wooden mallet, then... Well, then you're not an enemy, but you are a liability. And so we have to put you in the back seat. We can't stop attacking Vampire Grandpa to spare your feelings. The hour is too late for us to listen to friends who can't tell the difference between us and the enemy.

Think this is the first leftist meme I've seen where they kind of hit the nail on the head, but they don't seem to be able to execute the theory of mind to understand it. You get a taste of exactly how the world is going to work in public school because public schools have been bureaucratically run by communists for many, many decades now; as has the government and country. They are hell holes because of this. And they openly allow abuse of good students by bad ones, and when the good ones do literally anything to stand up to them or fix things, the good students are harshly punished by feminist teachers that sometimes overtly hate young boys. Sometimes they don't, but they can't help it. Their natural instinct is to protect the evil kids from the good ones' retaliations. If the good kids can just hide and cower then to them there isn't any real "conflict." It's only when young boys stand up to injustice that there is "conflict," because the young boy, to their understanding as effeminate teachers, should just lie down and take it. It's his fault for not just enduring abuse. Why does he have to fight back? That's stressful and mean. Everything would be just fine if he lied down and took it. That's how the world works. Violent colored animals are allowed to do whatever the hell they want to anyone they want to and the system only punishes White people for standing up to them. This is why young men are more right wing than ever; because communism has created a system that explicitly targets them for extermination and we don't want that system anymore, so we want to fix it. And it WILL be fixed. ---- I spent little time in public school, but there was a bully that would regularly cut me in line by forcibly shoving me out. Teachers were aware and wouldn't do anything. I told them multiple times and nothing was done. They watched it happen multiple times. One time he did it and I shoved him back. I was sent to the principal's office, given a stern talking to about bullying and violence, written up, and sent home.

The reason this meme resonates with Right Wingers so much is because when they were little their very first real interaction with the Leftist Longhouse was public education, where the states goal of education mattered far less than ideological compliance. We know this based on the state of American education, where the kids can name all the genders but can't read them. Where a child, often a boy, was subject to the whims, wishes, and the hormones of a self righteous government employee who hated men and boys and thought them inferior. And had complete power over a whole room of little boys they viewed as defective girls for hours a day. Leftists will dismiss all of this but the stats of how terrible these teachers are doing at *actual education*, especially of boys, is damning.
