We're delighted to announce that Prof Daniel McNeil is joining us as the new Stuart Hall Interdisciplinary Chair.
Prof Stuart Hall was a cultural studies pioneer who taught here from 1964 to 1979.

🌄 Errol Lawrence - We are sad to announce that the former Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies graduate @unibirmingham has recently passed away. Lawrence had contributed to the acclaimed book, ‘The Empire Strikes Back: Race and Racism in 70s Britain’, published in 1982.
