Scaling a professional services firm is hard. We can work more, we can become more efficient, we can forego quality and take on more (not an option), but ultimately we're capped by the individual capacity of our team members. It's easy to say "just hire". I don't post a lot about the operational side of Cayne Crossing. Sometimes I discount myself as an "operator" because I'm ultimately providing a service to those looking to become operators (or already there). But to be honest, I face many of the same challenges day to day that I read about on X, and that's why I'm here. We've grown exponentially (but very carefully) over the last 3 years through 100% word of mouth and referrals, and I strongly believe its solely driven by delivering high quality services done by high quality/experienced people who are passionate about SMB M&A. Any average or bad hire could be detrimental to our future. I'm super thrilled to announce the addition of our new team member, John Mitchell. I've known John for 10+ years since our time at PwC. There's some people you can tell from the day you meet them that they are someone you want to surround yourself with. John's going to be a huge addition to Cayne Crossing and brings a wealth of M&A knowledge from his last 5 years at Alvarez & Marsal. He's not on Twitter yet, but we'll work on that next. @Derek_CayneQofE @Andrew_CayneQoE
@Chris_CayneQofE That’s awesome - great pickup.
