@SherryYanJiang @levie Additionally, it is not about building software. It is more of solving a real world problem that is required and of value. Coding barrier has dissolved. This makes the real problem (solving problems of the world) clearer for entrepreneurs.

The problem: almost no retail investor successfully manages equity leverage through a full cycle. The ~11–13% CAGR assumes you de-levered before dot-com AND GFC AND re-levered at the bottom. In practice, most were wiped. The property holder just kept paying the mortgage and came out the other side. [5/6]

SGD adjustment: S&P 500 drops from +1,820% to +1,703% over 30 years. That's a 6.5% haircut from SGD strengthening vs USD since 1995. The gap vs HDB levered narrows from 0.8pp to 0.2pp per year. Conclusion unchanged. S&P 500 still wins net of costs. [2/2]
