@JamesLowrie24 I do think this is the more likely outcome. Does that 5 include Justice, or in addition to?

@BomberRicko Also says we might look to the draft for key forward/back depth as well, noting who still doesn’t have a contract.

@ScooterMcNeice These days we need to wait for Damian Barrett to do something similar in an article with a poor premise.

@BomberBanter_au I mean, yeah, but it’s a continuation of the culture change started 3 years ago. First we got rid of the guys that weren’t good enough for the level, then the ones who didn’t put in the effort, now it’s the ones that need a fresh start. Can’t do it all in a year.

@TheBombersBlog @Splendiferoo90 See, I had PTSD from someone suggesting he was more of a Dylan Sheil type.

@Jasperc53 @FootyStuffYT Thought it might be time to revisit this question now you’ve had some more time and footage. So, @Jasperc53 , who would you take if given the choice?

@ScooterMcNeice @bromobile07 There’s no way I was guessing Bryan and Jones from that clue.

@Slabotage @JamesLowrie24 I say 2 because I imagine we’re hitting the draft hard this year, and using a lot of capital on Bewick plus maybe 1 other academy kid next year. Beyond that, I’m expecting a bit more list stability, and the club to go hard with big dollars after free agents.

@Tommy_Wolfe7 Offseason champions, baby! If only we could take our October form into May.

@Jasperc53 That leap plus his height means he’s got a greater vertical presence than Van Hattum, yeah? If not, it’d be super close.

@ScooterMcNeice Also firms that Essendon should get the Merrett deal done this year, rather than letting it run and raking compensation next period.

@tazweare I’m a bit perplexed at the amount of people who think they’re defining the terms of the trade. At the end of the day, I think both sides will be a bit uncomfortable with what they’re giving up to make this work, and people need to be prepared for that.

@Kyptastic1 @barrettdamian You don’t get an award named after you for being consistently right and ahead of the curve: Damo justifies his lifetime achievement award this season, as has taken a very early lead on next seasons too. This is what greatness looks like.
