Laptop drives are always the most prone to failure due to the nature of a laptop overheating, or the ability for it to get wet or spilled on. Always run a backup and keep a backup of your data. Backing up at the very least every 6 months on external media or using a cloud service is best. Keep it safe and be safe. Data recovery is expensive and takes a lot of time, and not always guaranteed.

Our customers closet the finished photo. We couldn't take the service loop to the ceiling due to the ceiling being over loaded with wire that we can not touch since it is not owned by our customer. But they are up and running, tested, toned, labeled and separate from all other networks in the building.

@TechnoTimLive My testing with Ubiquiti switches I found them to mark good cables bad sometimes. But if this is happening like you say a test of the wire using something like a Scout Pro Max will determine not just wiring but speed of the wiring (up to 10Gbps).
