Another of last weeks finds, pair of @ray_ban scratched lenses & frame but considering how long they'd of been on the beach I'm amazed they're still in one piece & not rusty at all, very well made, checking the code these are £80 new so someone would of been gutted to lose these!

Long time since I've managed to get out on the beach till last week, back injury forced a lay off but back now hopefully for the foreseeable, one of my first finds back was this cool really old Macleans toothpaste top still with great graphics, the metal part looks like lead 😱

Thought this was a tyre valve at 1st, then I saw some writing on it which says, 'Parke Davis & Co'. I look them up & they are an old pharmaceutical company founded in 1866, later acquired by Warner–Lambert in 1970 who were then acquired by @pfizer in 2000! #metaldetecting

One of my favourite finds of the year so far, ca 1900-1912, Arthur Johnson Smith, Chester Silver, hallmarked brooch. Missing the pin & 3 stones that would of been on the front but still an awesome find. At 43mm long and 11mm at its widest very lucky find as well. #metaldetecting

@LittleJohn_MD Wow, imagine that, lucky man! I found a set of house keys completely concealed in a hot rock as well last week!! They were brass and still looked perfect once I'd broke them out!!

Find from last week, King George V half penny, dated 1927, it was almost completely encased in a hot rock when I found it, with only the edge visible, I almost put it in the trash bag!! Quite pleased with the condition considering how I found it! #metaldetecting #getmetothebeach

Found this while out on Wednesday, some sort of what I think is a cats head, pretty sure its Silver, no markings on it but it appears to be just a piece of something larger, it could possible be a lid to something, any ideas? #metaldetecting #getmetothebeach

No Idea what this is, it looks like its been melted, it is non ferrous and weighs in at 22g, there are definitely man made parts on it, it was encased in a hot rock. Any ideas welcome 🤞#metaldetecting #getmetothebeach
