Bankrolling a Fascist War Machine and the Murder of Children: America's Ultimate Moral Collapse Just when you thought this country couldn't sink any lower under a spineless, power-mad tyrant, we hit absolute rock bottom with this sickening display of idiocy. By groveling before Vladimir Putin and trading our morality for Russian diesel, Trump has committed an unforgivable act of treason — he is a literal TRAITOR who belongs nowhere near the Oval Office. The calls for his immediate removal are a moral necessity. But the shame doesn't stop with him. Every single voter who still enables, defends, or blindly ignores this monster is completely complicit. As President Zelenskyy rightly called out this pathetic display of "obvious weakness," the ugly truth stares us in the face: our dollars are now actively filling the Kremlin’s war chest. Because of Trump's corruption and the public's spineless silence, the United States is officially bankrolling a fascist war machine and directly financing the slaughter, torture, and murder of innocent Ukrainian men, women, and children.
If you’re wondering why we’re talking about televised firing squads all of a sudden it’s because it was finally revealed we lost *an entire base* in Kuwait and our troops didn’t have enough bullets to defend it. A career ender for Hegseth in any other world.

Another way to think about Trump announcement today: If he increased US diesel imports from Canada by 4%, he would gain as much fuel as from this Russia deal. But the Canadians are global super-villains, so who wants to buy from them when you could enrich Putin instead?
Trump & Hegseth aren't just proposing to livestream an execution for people who want to watch. They're proposing to broadcast a man being shot to death, even if deserved by our system, and even if you agree with this version of the death penalty, knowing that the footage will be clipped, shared, and pushed into social media feeds. Including those of our children. The gruesome image will be everywhere. Parents will have virtually no control over whether their kids see it. Once those images are released, there is no taking them back. Hope all the parents in the Trump Admin are cool with that.
Historian of fascism here. This is an escalation of an attempt to normalize extreme violence, ritualize violence, militarize the country, and make violence entertaining so when they ask you to commit violence in their name, you will be ready.
