Charlotte's Brain Tumour Journey Diagnosis to Death: 951 days Age 19 18.2.97 - 24.2.16 8.9.2013 The X-ray has revealed nothing. What happens now? We are still no closer to understanding why Charlotte is in so much pain. After everything she had already been through, the uncertainty was almost as difficult to cope with as the pain itself. All we could do was wait, ask questions and hope that someone could work out what was happening. But over the course of the next few days, things developed very quickly, bringing increasing alarm, fear and distress for all of us. charlottesbag.org is a self-funding brain tumour charity. 100% of every donation goes directly to brain tumour research in Charlotte's Lab at King's College Hospital, London. No salaries. No overheads. No advertising. No merchandise. We even personally cover the PayPal and PO Box fees, so nothing is taken from the charity account.

I will continue to share and document our diary, as I believe it's important that people understand why we do what we do. The diary doesn't contain an entry for every single day, particularly during the periods when things were going relatively well. It was during the more difficult times that I found myself writing things down more often. Looking back now, these entries give an honest account of what it was like to live alongside a brain tumour diagnosis from those first devastating days through everything that followed. I hope by sharing Charlotte's story, people can better understand the reality of brain tumours and why raising awareness and funding research remains so important to us. Charlotte's story deserves to be heard. And her legacy deserves to continue A last plea for donations. We are now only £295 short of raising £6,000 To every single person who donated, shared our posts, encouraged us and followed our journey thank you. It means more than you know.
