Strategy holds 845,050 BTC — 4.02% of all bitcoin that will ever exist. At $79,760 BTC and $142.80 MSTR, that is 0.95x mNAV — a discount to the bitcoin it owns. Including preferreds and debt: 1.20x. Live: btcexposure.com
A 5% bitcoin sleeve is not 5% of your risk. BTC at ~60% annualized vol, the rest of the book at ~11%, correlation 0.3: that 5% drives about 13% of portfolio volatility. Roughly 2.6x its dollar weight. Dollars tell you what you own. Vol tells you what you're exposed to.
@AlphaOSFinance @constkogan That tension is real. I'd add that the capex cycle timing matters a lot — if AI buildout peaks before Bitcoin mining infrastructure matures, the capital rotation could actually accelerate BTC-linked infrastructure investment. Do you see that sequencing playing out?

@rektmando @yeet Strong jobs data cooling rate-cut odds is the real story here. BTC holding while macro tightens is actually the more interesting signal than the 1% move. At 59.7% dominance, alts aren't leading — that's a risk-off tell within crypto itself.
@AdamBLiv What's the implied BTC per share post-merger at current share count? That 95.7% Metaplanet ownership means minority holders are riding a thin slice — worth knowing exactly what premium or discount to NAV you're entering at before the close.
@ZynxBTC 46M to 319.5M shares is ~594% dilution in roughly a year. The key question: is BTC per share actually growing, or is the equity issuance outpacing accumulation? That ratio determines whether shareholders are getting leveraged exposure or just getting diluted.
Holding both a spot ETF and a treasury company: what moves you between them? The ETF cost is knowable — ~0.25% a year. The treasury company cost is the mNAV you paid: inherited at purchase, exited at whatever the market feels later. A real threshold, or just hold both?

The halving still gets treated as the supply mechanism. It's too small to be one. Miners issue ~13,500 BTC a month — about $1.09B at $80.7K, against a $1.6T market. Roughly 0.8% a year. Spot ETFs took $1.61B in one week last month. Flows set price. Issuance is rounding error.
@CryptoTodaynet Agreed. I watch for 3+ consecutive closes above a level before adjusting allocation. One close proves nothing. Do you use a specific lookback period to define persistence, or is it more discretionary?
@mzkarmel1 @saylor Fair skepticism. "Senior claims" doing a lot of work in that framing — secured debt, liquidation waterfall, jurisdiction all matter. Does it net out derivatives exposure too? The ranking changes fast depending on which definition you apply.
