Question for #LongCovid & #MedTwitter fam — past 4 years I've never napped w LC, & now past 2 months I nap almost daily for 30-60 min in afternoon (3-6pm) & **seems** to correlate with maybe slight baseline increase. Could napping be helping, or be a stage of recovery/healing?
@loscharlos I cannot nap. It’s the wired but tired feeling that comes with dysautonomia. My sleep is so broken, vivid dreams no deep sleep. I’d take it as a sign of healing if you’re able to nap. Like you’re becoming more regulated.
@BGiarusso22 @loscharlos ME/CFS with POTS here. I was 15 years before I even yawned. Then started napping sometimes in the afternoon. Not a night in 25 years though that I have fallen asleep at night without my sleep meds. If I’m still awake at 12 or 1, I realize I haven’t take my meds.
