#Meanwhile JOHARIS WINDOW is a self development psychological theory developed by JOE and HARRY, to help people know their strengths and weakness and also solve problems. It's used in both management aspects. Thread>>1/5
the closest thing to a cheat code i've ever found is being able to reprogram my own mind. most of your beliefs, your fears, your limits, and the way you see yourself got programmed into your subconscious without you choosing them. the good news is you can go back in and swap them for what you actually want. here are the ways that actually work 👇 1️⃣ Scripting. This is more powerful than it looks, so be careful what you write. Once a day, write a page in the present tense describing your life as if you already have it, in detail, how your day goes, what you have done, how you feel. Just know it works both ways. If you spend the page writing about everything that's going wrong, or what you're afraid will happen, your mind focuses on that just the same. So be careful what you put down, because whatever you write is the direction you start heading in. 2️⃣ Flood your mind with the right inputs. Your mind becomes whatever you surround it with, every video, song, person, and post is programming you. So cut the stuff feeding the old you (doom-scrolling, negative people, content that keeps you the same person) and replace it with people already living what you want. Set your feed, your room, and your circle at who you're becoming, and you'll start thinking like them without trying. 3️⃣ Immerse to the point of obsession. Halfway does nothing. The people who change fastest go all in and surround themselves with the goal completely, the way the fastest way to learn a language is to move to the country, not take a weekly class. Read it, watch it, talk it, live it, until you think about it more than anything else. 4️⃣ Repeat the new identity until your mind believes it. Your mind believes what it hears most, not what's true. Feed it new lines daily, phrased as who you already are: "I'm someone who follows through," not "I'll try." Do it right after waking and right before sleep, when the doubting part of your mind is off and the words go straight in. 5️⃣ Live the success in your head, the right way. Don't watch yourself like a movie. Be inside the moment, through your own eyes. Pick one specific scene that would only be real if you'd made it, sitting in the car you want, seeing the number in your bank, walking into your new home. Build it with every sense, then feel the emotion of it being done. Your brain treats a vivid, emotional scene almost like a real memory, so it starts to feel already yours. Do it for 15 minutes, morning and night. 6️⃣ Act as the person now. Your mind decides who you are by watching what you do, not what you say. Each day, take one action the successful you would take and the old you would avoid. Start the project instead of "researching" it more, charge what you're actually worth instead of undercharging, show up on the day you'd normally skip. Every time you act like them, you hand your mind proof you are them, and eventually the identity changes. 7️⃣ Build a trigger to snap into state. Next time you naturally feel confident or driven, at the peak, do one small unique action, press two fingers together. Repeat it every time you feel that state. Your brain wires the two together like a song tied to a memory, and soon that action alone brings the state back on command. 8️⃣ Talk to yourself in questions, not commands. Your mind fights orders but can't resist a question. "I am confident" gets "no you're not." But "why am I so calm under pressure?" makes your brain go looking for proof, so it accepts the assumption on its own. Ask questions that treat the thing as already true. 9️⃣ Make a huge deal of small wins. Your brain repeats what it's rewarded for. Most people do the right thing and feel nothing. Instead, every small step, stop and actually feel good about it, "that's who I am now." You're getting your brain to associate the action with feeling good, and after a while you don't have to drag yourself to it anymore. Stack these and do them every day. Within a few days you'll already feel something change, and if you keep going, you'll wake up one day as a completely different person, thinking, acting, and living like the version of you that you always knew you could be. Consistency is what gets you there.
Tax waiver has kicked off in Kenya. Starting today, 1st July 2026, the tax amnesty introduced by the Finance Act, 2026 has officially taken effect. • How does it work? KRA shall delete your tax penalties, interest and non-compliance fines, Provided you pay the principal (actual tax) due. • What period does it cover? It covers tax liabilities that arose on or before 31st December 2025. Under one condition. - You must clear the principal tax before 1st Jan 2027. Example. Say your actual tax bill for 2020 was Ksh 100,000. You did not pay it because of cash flow challenges. Over the years, penalties and interests have accumulated to Ksh 30,000. If you pay the Ksh 100,000 before 2027, KRA shall take the rubber, and erase the 30,000. • One question many people are asking: - Will KRA also waive the penalties for late filing of your 2025 tax return late? The answer is: Yes. • So what should you do? • Check your iTax ledger immediately. • Identify the principal tax outstanding. • Pay the principal tax. • Leave the penalties, interest and fines untouched. KRA shall erase them.

🚨🤍 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Yan Diomande emotional letter to his late sister: "Dear Roxane, Remember when somebody bought me a fake United jersey, and I wrote Ronaldo 7 on the back with the black marker?" "We didn’t know rich or poor. We just knew happiness." "Remember 25 people sleeping in one house back in Abidjan? Mum wanted to watch her soap operas. Everyone else wanted to watch movies. Remember how I always used to fake like I was asleep and then go into the TV room after midnight? I’d put the TV on real low. Just like 2 volume bars. I’d watch football in the dark and dream." "Remember when the adults saw me playing football in the dirt and nicknamed me “Roberto Carlos” because of how hard I would shoot? And remember how I was secretly so mad about it, because CR7 was my idol?" "Remember when I went to play so far from home? I was 9 years old. Inter Foot Sud Comoé, all the way near the Ghana border. Just a little boy on his own. I don’t know if I ever told you this story, but me and the other kids used to go into the village and steal potatoes because we were so hungry. We did a “bank heist.” Two kids distracting the shop owner, and 18 other kids running out with two potatoes. They weren’t even good. But they tasted amazing. Hahahah. It’s still my favorite thing to eat. Boiled potatoes with some oil. It reminds me of those times." "Remember when I got my first real football boots, and I used to sleep with them? Growing up, I always played in those white plastic sandals. Even when I go back home now, I still play in them. It’s our tradition." "Remember when I would come back home, and you would tell my friends from the neighborhood, “Why did you stop training? Yan is not going to buy you cars. You have to keep working." "You were 10 years old, and already my agent." "Remember how we used to sit and dream about moving to France? How we were going to go shopping and get our own apartment and I was going to be a rich footballer with cars and a big house, and you wouldn’t have to worry about nothing. You were the one who always believed that I could be the next Cristiano, when everybody else laughed." "Remember when I moved to America for high school at 15, and I was so homesick? I didn’t know what anybody was saying for months. They sat me next to a French kid, and he tried to translate everything the teacher was saying. Remember when I called you, saying, “You won’t believe it, the kids here argue with teachers." "Back home, you know we wouldn’t even dare to blink at our elders." "Remember when I couldn’t believe the kids were smoking after school? You used to say it sounded like I was in an American TV show." "Remember when they took me on trial at Bournemouth? At Chelsea, Rangers, Olympiacos, Crystal Palace? Eze and Olise even came up to me after one training and said, “Yo kid, you’re really good.”" "But they still didn’t sign me." "Even the B teams in the MLS didn’t want me. I didn’t even know why. They never gave me a reason. The adults handled everything. They just kept taking me all around Europe, and everybody kept saying no." "My visa was up. My dream was over. They sent me back to Africa, and we cried together." "You were the one who never stopped believing. A few weeks later, I signed for Leganés and we cried different tears." "That was back when I used to have emotions. Now, I don’t feel anything. It’s like I’m not even human. Since you died, I’m just blank." "I don’t even think I shed a tear the day they told me that you were gone. I was just in shock." "It was a few weeks after I made my debut for Leganés. Who makes their debut at 18 against Real Madrid? It was too crazy. It was a dream." "And then it was a nightmare. Someone kept calling me from back home. I was annoyed. I didn’t understand why they kept calling me." "I picked up, and they didn’t even soften it. You know how it is back home. No emotions. Just…….. “Your sister is gone.” “What?” “She died.” “What are you talking about?” “Somebody put something in her drink at a party, and she never woke up. She is gone.” "You were 15." "15." "I never got any answers. I don’t know if I want to know why. Maybe it was jealousy. Maybe it’s just something that happens in our country. Maybe I could have protected you. I don’t know." "I try to trust God’s plan. It’s all I can do. I don’t try to forget, because I know I won’t forget. All I can do is use the pain to work harder, and to do everything we dreamed about." "I wrote this because I can’t speak about it. I wrote this because I want you to know that I will make sure that you live on. I will make sure that everybody knows your name. The whole world." "Everything I do on a football pitch, it’s for you." "So much has happened since I last saw you…… You would not even believe it. I don’t know if I believe it." "You know what’s crazy? After my debut against Madrid, I actually swapped shirts with Mbappé. Remember when we used to watch him on TV, and you’d say, “Mbappé? Yeah, he’s good. But my brother is better.” "I was wrong about one thing. I don’t want to be rich. I see what it does to people, even to family. When I was at Leganés, everything I was earning, I was sending home. It got to the point where I didn’t even want money anymore. It was just a burden. They never stopped asking. I guess they thought I was a millionaire already. I didn’t even have an apartment. I was living at the training ground in a room with no TV. Just football and sleep, football and sleep." "I didn’t want a big house. I didn’t want cars. I just wanted to put everything into football. Everything to show the world that my sister was right……." "Ha…. you will think this is funny. When I moved to play at RB Leipzig, I was always late. Well, not late. But I was on time, which in Germany means you’re very late." "So you already know what I did next. I started arriving 90 minutes early to everything. I was so early all the time that the guys started calling me “The German.”" "I always have to overdo everything. I have zero chill. You always said that." "The pitch is the only place that I feel at home anymore. It’s the place where I feel calm, and I can speak to you. I just wish you were still here so I could tell you….. We did it." "Everything you said came true." "We’re leaving for the World Cup tomorrow. For real. Your brother is going to play for Côte d'Ivoire, like Drogba, like Yaya, like Gervinho." "I don’t even look at it like a game. I look at it like a stage. This is my chance to show the whole world what you saw in me. Every time I score, I’ll make sure everybody knows your name. I’ll make sure they don’t forget you." "You always said that I could be better than Cristiano. If I see him there, I’ll tell him hello for you." "I’m going to do what you predicted, I swear. Before I even had real boots, you were telling everybody, “My brother is going to be the greatest in the world.” "I will prove that you were right, or I will die trying... Your brother, Yan." — @PlayersTribune
This is not even about a grandma’s love for her grandkids. In African culture, when you are chasing a child and he or she runs to an elderly person for refuge, it is automatically assumed that the child is safe and you should respect the elderly person. The grandma, being an elder at that point, will ask what the child did. She will either caution the child there or hand the child back to you for punishment, depending on the offence. But in order to maintain that elderly status and respect, she will most likely plead on behalf of the child and ask for pardon. The lady was very disrespectful to even attempt to flog the child after he had already run to the grandma. At that point, she should have just turned back, and if she still needed to discipline the child, it should have been done later and without the knowledge of the grandma, who would likely find it even more disrespectful that after granting pardon, the punishment was still carried out. We all witnessed this growing up. I know our culture is gradually being eroded, but we can’t allow it to disappear. Despite how some elders have turned out in present times, we still have to accord morally upright ones the respect they deserve. We will all be elders someday too.
😂😂😂 they didn’t inform her that grandmas do not joke with their grand kids.
@RamzZy_ Remember the videos of the Somali wazee crying when Somalia ratified the Africa Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC) last year because the charter prevents child marriage. The government had to abstain that kasection. We are a mad society.
The most manipulative but effective thing I’ve ever done in my life was when I read an article about how children moderate their behavior to protect their self-identity, so if a child believes he’s smart, for example, he’ll intentionally study and try to do well to protect his image of himself. Anyway, I would pull kids aside with behavioral issues at church and tell them, “David (obviously fake name), you’re such a kind person and such a good listener. I can see that in you. Thank you for always listening.” “Little Annie, thank you for taking such good care of the babies around you. You’re going to be such a good big sister. Can you be in charge of watching Sally?” They would ALWAYS behave afterward. ALWAYS. Worked like a charm. Morally questionable because it wasn’t initially true, but I kind of willed it into existence. Tbf, I did think that they had that in them or I wouldn’t have tried. Will publish longitudinal results of this method once my kid is old enough to report back.
I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.
This sentence by Van Gogh hits hard: “If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now. For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is a grass in the beginning.”
There is a new cash cow in town. 🚨 If you import a car to Kenya right now, @ntsa_kenya is taking weeks to print physical plates after allocation. Since CFS storage fees are piling up, you're forced to drive from Mombasa with your registration on a piece of paper. (1/4)
I've been denied @KRACare tax compliance because my employer has never remited taxes for 2020 and 2021. Personally i don't owe Kra any money, my former employer does. The guy didn't pay full salo for a year. It's unreasonable nd im sure not legal for Kra to deny me something that can potentially make me lose a job opportunity because my estranged employer has not paid taxes. I'm cooking a lawsuit hoping itaingiana.
Winning it there will make headlines. I believe 🙌🏿💪🏿

The Kenya Revenue Authority (Amendment) Bill of 2026 is out! Unlike what we saw with the Central Bank of Kenya (Amendment) Bill of 2026 (see quoted tweet), this one is principally a clean up exercise. We can see deletion of reference to the Standards Levy Order, 1990 & the Sugar Act (repealed). In their place, we will now have the Standards (Standards Levy) Order of 2025 (Legal Notice 136/2025) & the Sugar Act, 2024. The word “ex-officio” with regard to the Board of the Revenue Authority is also being deleted.
I know we are all heavy on Finance Bill 2026 & submissions but the Central Bank of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2026 introduced in the National Assembly this afternoon is extremely consequential. What are we seeing here? · There's a proposal to widen the window for CBK's
Magubane paid a heavy price for his resistance photojournalism. He was arrested multiple times, had his nose broken by police for refusing to hand over his film, and in 1974, was put into solitary confinement for 586 days. When he was released, the regime banned him from taking photos for five years. Undeterred, he broke his banning orders to cover the historic 1976 Soweto Uprising.

I realised it, grieved it, took a pen and my diary and wrote everything down brainstormed a future plan envisioned where I see myself and spent hours planning. Completed 06 courses in 02 months- interned learned and paved my path. You have to do it. Realisation is only first step
Unfortunately, I have to admit that I have not done my best. My current situation is a direct consequence of my incompetence. I suck at doing this life thing.
