Episode 1 of Halo S2 is pretty good, the action was excellent, and it has a darker more tense tone, as if there’s a timer counting down to the apocalypse. But despite what the marketing said, it’s not a complete departure from S1, it definitely continues off it thematically.

It’s funny that Halo Infinite was gaining momentum, major issues fixed, population was rising every update, and overall community sentiment was more positive than it had been in awhile. And then seasons got scrapped.
In my humble opinion, Halo Infinite’s campaign and multiplayer shouldn’t be graded on the same scale. As I’m replaying Infinite’s campaign, I don’t even feel like it’s the same game as the multiplayer. The campaign is so much better. And I still really enjoy the multiplayer.
