Implementing the new #SEDRILIMS in a microbiology laboratory from Sierra Leone. The system is free, easy to use and can be customised by the users for their specific needs and tests. Also makes statistics so much easier.
V2.6.2 of the ACORN app is now released. The update just adds our new site in the Philippines plus a couple of minor bug fixes.
ACORN is expanding! The Philippine General Hospital in Manila will soon come online as a semi-independent member of the network, focussing on neonatal and paediatric infections. Great to meet the team for training this week! @Wellcome_AMR @MORUBKK

ACORN is having a positive impact on utilisation of diagnositc microbiology services in our Kenyan surveillance sites! Symposia were held at both Kitale and Bungoma as part of #WAAW2022 activities. Great to see the teams in action:

Representatives from @ACORN_AMR lab teams. Main discussion topics- -high cost of consumables and equipment for LMICs -supply chain issues- usually >6mths for consumables to arrive -short expiry dates for consumables -no maintenance plans in donor agreements -sustainability #AMR
