استضاف مؤتمر «الفضاء من أجل الاستدامة» ، شركة «4EI» حيث تعرّفنا عن قرب على تفاصيل مبادرة «NABAT» الفائزة في تحدي الأمن الغذائي ضمن برنامج ساس للتطبيقات الفضائية، وأهميتها ومساهمتها في التخطيط للزراعة المستدامة مستقبلاً، وتم تسليط الضوء على الأهداف الأساسية للمبادرة وتطويرها. Space for Sustainability conference included a session led by 4EI, focusing on the Nationwide Agriculture Baseline Advanced Technologies (NABAT) Initiative, which emerged as the victor in the Food Security challenge of the Space Analytics and Solutions (SAS) Program. كشفت وكالة الإمارات للفضاء، بالتعاون مع شركة «بلانيت لابز» عن مشروع «أطلس الخسائر والأضرار للدراسات المناخية»، والذي شارك في تطويره جهات محلية من بينها شركة «بيانات»، وجامعة الإمارات، و«فارمن» و«فور إيرث إنتليجنس». وتمثل هذه المبادرة تقدمًا كبيرًا في تعزيز القدرة على التكيف مع تغير المناخ ومواجهة التحديات البيئية باستخدام تكنولوجيا الفضاء المبتكرة. وفي إطار هذا التعاون المشترك، ركزت «فور إيرث إنتليجنس» على تطوير نظام للإنذار المبكر للشعاب المرجانية، فيما رسمت «فارمن» خرائط تفصيلية لقياس الأعماق في جزر المالديف. وعرضت جامعة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أبحاثها حول الكتلة الحيوية لأشجار المانجروف على سطح الأرض، فيما طورت شركة «بيانات» أدوات تحليلية للكشف عن التغيرات في ارتفاع مستويات مياه البحر. The UAE Space Agency, in collaboration with Planet Labs, unveiled the 'Loss and Damage Atlas for Climate Resilience', project developed by local entities including Bayanat, UAE University, 4EI, and Farmin. This initiative represents a major advancement in bolstering climate resilience and tackling environmental challenges using innovative space technology.
