@CherokeeRose187 There’s a fertilizer shortage if you haven’t heard. The Texas panhandle has a water shortage because the aquifer is limited and farms are closing. There are droughts throughout the US right now. Lake Meade is getting lower and is 180 feet below max capacity and 2/3’s empty.

@e_philalethes @HuppenthalJohn Look where the barge is in the center of this picture. It washed ashore with Hurricane Belle in 1976. There’s like 6 inches of sea level rise since then and at least fifty feet of land lost. The old shoreline can be seen below the barge.

@ChrisGloninger Here’s a picture of the bay in Holgate NJ. The dark patch in the middle is a barge that washed ashore in 1976. I know because I lived there. It is at least 50 ft out into the bay now. The old shoreline can be seen below the barge too. Sea level rise is obvious.

A simple thing. I went out to the garden and picked eight strawberries for my wife. I planted them and propagated them for the last 15 years. It’s rewarding. Just keep ahead of the slugs.
