I’ve released CotEditor 7.0.5. This release mainly focuses on bug fixes and stability improvements. The 7.0.x series is the last to support macOS 15. Unless new issues are found, 7.0.5 is expected to be the final release in the series. coteditor.com/releasenotes/7…

Released the first beta of CotEditor 7.0, the next major update. This version focuses on a substantial update of syntax analysis and also includes changes to the syntax definition format. Some built-in syntaxes are now tree-sitter-based. coteditor.com/beta

In CotEditor 6.2.0 and 6.2.1, I updated the user guide to match Apple’s current documentation style. That said, I don’t think making a user guide “Apple-like” is necessary at all to deliver a good native app experience. So this part is really just my personal hobby.
