Raz Wolpe, an Israeli who just top 4'ed Worlds, follows this account, who just retweeted a video of Israel bombing Lebanon with Disney music over it as a "joke"

@bubs_pkmn The idea of letting nonbinary people in but not trans men is a weird way of saying either "non binary people are women lite" or "masculine people are inherently aggressive and should be barred on that alone" All people of marginalized genders should have a safe space

A lot of queer people need to read up on the concept of "maGes" so they can understand how they can make their communities properly inclusive

@richlesbianceo_ Our community is aimed to be a safe space for female, non-binary and agender players. This is what the server was designed to be and what it will remain. Sadly, we are not in the position to create safe spaces for every marginalised group of players there is.

THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS SAY TO STOP. VACATIONING. IN. HAWAI'I. BAN AIRBNB !!

Hawaii is on the verge of banning Airbnbs. Hawaii is facing one of the worst housing crises in the U.S. and over half of the state's short-term rentals are owned by people out-of-state. Two bills to let local governments enact bans just need final votes. substack.perfectunion.us/p/hawaii-moves…

Hawaii is a Disneyland-like resort built over our indigenous communities & ancestor's graves, made to do bastardizations of sacred dances, in 'sexy feather headresses' & entertain the rich tourists for starvation wages, 12 hrs a day 7 days a week, drinking jet fuel poisoned water

The US banned Hawaiian language, overthrew our country, let us die in Maui fires, devastated our universal healthcare, & illegally occupies Hawaii to this day. My mother's hands were broken for speaking Hawaiian in school. The US is not a beacon, but the destroyer of independence

@PokeEmmi_ @MaddoxTCG @GalleryGamesLLC Thai MLK a bit up the street is a cart with really great food. Hat Yai has incredible southern Thai food that has some dishes I hadn't heard of outside of when I went there. For late night food, the 5th street food carts are open late and have a variety of options

And then you realise that all these Hawaiian birds are extinct - and Hawaii is the extinction capital of the world - BECAUSE of heavy tourism and the clearing of natural spaces to cater to the tourists and WHY local Hawaiians keep telling y'all to STOP coming to Hawaii.

The money from the increased prizing should have gone to ensure that each day 2 player gets a small cash prize. Making day 2 would be more significant and no one would feel like they wasted their time playing. (8/14)

This is a start but it still feels bad that so many people will bubble into half a box because of big the event has gotten. Top 64 should have gotten 500$ and top 128 should get packs.

There’s two kinds of people talking about ace specs: 1) those that want power spray back 2) those that played tournaments when power spray was legal

Pokemon has the ability to completely take over the competitive TCG scene if they put up the capital, but they often choose cheap-ness over anything else.

This is partially in response to the tweet that was going around asking why competitive Pokemon TCG content isn't popular. Pokemon had a chance to do something really cool with a new client and absolutely blew it.

What if Pokemon had properly invested in PTCGL to make it a fully-fledged client. What if they had created a fully online, open entry tournament series with no player cap that was completely separate from the IRL circuit, that was supported internally by the client.
