"Returning To Petrol": Volkswagen EV Sales Plunge 25% In Europe zerohedge.com/markets/return…

Seems more like a discussion of legacy automakers having to compete with Chinese manufacturing … how do you inspire the next generation of car conscious buyers into the EV space. The tech is constantly evolving from battery range to infrastructure. What is the ultimate buy in to the legacy vertical 👀
@zerohedge Hoping they bring their diesel cars back in the US
@zerohedge That's because they're not allowed to use Chinese technology so will be left in the dark ages. FYI Chinese EVs can charge 400 kilometers in five minutes.
@zerohedge when the gas prices hit all time high this summer, EV sales will be back up.

I like the idea of electric vehicles, but the infrastructure is lousy. Plus, when I heard about the backdoor on an outside source being able to turn off your vehicle, that was a big no-no. Is there a way to take out that function altogether? What you need is a vehicle that charges itself from solar panels on all the body panels, so there is no requirement to charge it from the mains ever.
